During the craziness of the lockdown, Instagram showed me an ad about @mentorher.ie and curious as I am I immediately signed up to be a mentor for two reasons:
The first one and a bit selfish, I wanted to stop being so shy and work on my communication and leadership skills.
The second one, was to help women starting (or thinking to start) their business and needed someone to talk and brainstorm with. I don’t have all the answers and will probably make tons of mistakes with my first mentee LOL but I think that in moments like this we girl bosses need to stick together.
A big part of who I am and the things I’ve done so far is because of the incredible women in my life (family, friends, customers, role models etc) and I’m sure that this project will be key in a lot of young women’s lives.
